PouchHug™ - Baby Pocket Jacket

If you plan on wearing your baby a lot then this is amazing! I LOVE it! It is great that you can take the center out and use the jacket regular when you’re not wearing your baby too! Washes well and is so comfy! We shop at Costco often and I love going in the fridge to pick my veggies and fruit. It is definitely cold in there and I can zip this jacket all the way up and she is snuggled against me and perfectly warm. When I walk out I zip it open so she can look around and get some air. This jacket is awesome! I would buy again and I recommend to any baby wearing mommy!

I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely love this jacket and in fact, it is probably one of my top 10 favorite baby purchases. I got it for the sole reason that I often have to walk my dog at night with my infant. It is much thicker and cozier than I expected. I love how soft the fuzzy interior is. I only got it to cover my baby wrap carrier, but I wear the jacket even when I don't have the baby on me because it's so comfortable and perfect for me when the temp is between 20-45 degrees out. Also fits comfortably under a heavier coat during this arctic blast we are currently experiencing. The hood for the baby is a bit big right now (he is 2 months old) and the opening where his head goes is too low for us (I keep him high enough to easily kiss the top of his head), but I usually just don't zip up the sides the last 6 inches and instead fold the baby cover part down at the very top and this works well for us right now. It will be perfect as is once he's a bit bigger. I also wish the bottom of the baby cover zip on part were tapered to make it more narrow because even with my very wide hips, when the carrier cover is attached, the bottom of the jacket is very wide and can get a little drafty. Either way, this is great quality and can easily be made to work from newborns to toddlers and after that continue to be a great jacket for Mom or Dad.

This is a great fleece hoodie for the transitional fall or winter season! True to size and pockets are a bit smaller (would only fit your hands, no phone or wallet) but it’s perfect for going on walks with your little one in a carrier. Very cozy and warm, length covers your butt and feels like a blanket. Would highly recommend for those who baby wear!

If you are hesitating to buy this, do it. Its perfect. Its warm. The baby is nicely snuggled. It looks fine as a coat on its own and fits tts. Im wearing it for my second new england fall/winter and its perfect. I get so many compliments and its comfy and warm. I have the PINK one and its cute. I love it!

I got this for my daughter-in-law while she was pregnant. She loves it. It’s so versatile. It’s more than three jackets in one. It’s great for your whole pregnancy, keeping the baby warm after it’s born and becomes a regular jacket when you wanna use it later. I would highly recommend it.

I don’t write reviews often, but this jacket is a must have, and when a was searching for it I was so disappointed to not find reviews about it.
So here I am!
I’m using this jacket for months, and everyone ask me about it!
It’s basically a fleece jacket with space for the baby in the carrier…and there is also a little hoodie to cover the baby’s head!
I walk to bring my first daughter to school and having my little one in the carrier, both of us covered, warm and cozy it’s a life saver !
I used it with different layers under it accordingly with the weather. I don’t know if it would be enough for the winter but it’s enough for spring/fall weather. I took a medium size and fits me well (170 cm tall, 72 kilos) with a lot of space for thicker jumpers and for my growing baby.
I would recommend it to all my friends and all the carrying mamas!

I had very high hopes but and also doubts about this jacket . But LET ME TELL YOU, it is exactly what I was looking for. This is a size small and it has plenty of room for baby and I.
I use the baby born carrier and she has room to face in and out.
I’ve used this jacket in 30 degree weather and we were both as cozy as could be.
The versatility to unzip the inner part and have a functioning jacket for myself is a plus as well.

Only downside is the pockets aren’t that deep so I don’t recommend putting your phone in, but great size to keep hands warm.

Don’t let the price steer you away, it is absolutely worth it! Zippers have held up great so far.

If you’re on the fence… BUY IT

I absolutely adored this sweater. I didn't get to use it enough before my daughter was too big to be carried on the front of me. It was hard to let this sweater go, because it helped us make some Precious Memories.

This jacket is perfect! Very thick fleece and what I wanted for the winter. I live in a very cold area and have to walk my dogs with baby in the carrier so I wanted something that could go over him as well. The little hood part is perfect for him and is big enough that there is room for him to grow into it. I usually carry him in a wrap but have tried it with another carrier and it works great with both. I am 5’2 and 150 lbs, the large is a perfect fit with enough room to wear a heavy sweater under. I wear this jacket without the insert as well when I’m not wearing baby. I already get so much use out of it and am so happy. The jacket is heavy enough that I can wear on cold days but if it goes below 35-40 I usually wear another winter coat over top. It is long enough to cover babies feet in the carrier as well.

This is a nice fleece. I’ve worn it in 40 degree weather with a long sleeved shirt underneath and added a sweatshirt, gloves, and ear warmer for 30 degree windy days. I should have included a photo without baby in the carrier to show that it fits great when worn as a normal jacket.

Sizing is true to size-medium. I am 142pounds 34 DDD/E wearing size medium shirts, size 8-10 in Old Navy Rockstar-fit jeans. As mentioned in previous reviews, the pockets are prominent, however, in my opinion you can tell it’s a pocket and not hips. I can fit my pandemic mask, gloves, daughters kid gloves, car keys, and iPhone in the pockets. The hood has a drawstring on it for you and baby. I did not have it when pregnant because I had my baby in Sept.

This is was exactly what I needed to keep my baby and myself warm! Was traveling to France and it was cold and rainy on some days. I was carrying my son in the baby k’tan the whole time walking thru the small villages and this was just a perfect fit to keep the baby snug closely to me. Better option than me bringing a thick coat and using a baby carrier and having to dress my baby up on something thick.

I bought a small in black and everything pretty much fit. It is a little loose on the body so cold air can come through the bottom. It wasn’t a huge thing but thought I’d mention.

Overall, highly recommend! I love that after the baby, I can just unzip the middle and wear it as normal zipped up hoodie!

There isn’t a single think I don’t love about this jacket! It’s has been a jacket I’ve used with my son, now my daughter. It’s so soft & warm, literally wore it last night in 30 degree weather and my baby & I stayed snug and warm!! I love the little hood for the baby, I also love that it tightens around the bottom. It’s cool because it also allows me to remove the baby insert to wear it when it’s just me.

If you don’t have this jacket, take this as your sign to buy it!

I loved that the child panel has its own hood to cover my munchkin up and that it is so easy to switch between baby wearing and just being a jacket. I’m not the biggest fan of the fuzzy fleece texture because I know it attracts all of the hairs/lint but otherwise this is great! I would get it in a raincoat material too if they had it!

I used a baby carrier cover with my first son and was really looking for something more convenient for this babe. I looked at several jackets on Etsy ($$$), amazon and various websites. I decided to purchase this one because it seemed like a good value and I didn't have to wait several weeks for it to arrive like most of the sellers on Etsy. I LOVE this jacket. It is part of my daily wardrobe and I would absolutely purchase it again. I purchased a medium which is my typical jacket size. It is a little large but I wanted something that would work for several months since it is winter here. For reference I am 5'3 and about 135#.

This jacket is thick and cozy, good quality. I first wore the jacket with the infant panel when I was 8-9 months pregnant. It fit well but looked a little odd with the infant's hood in front, which I didn't mind because it was usually dark when I wore it. Now when I have my 11-pound baby in a front-pack carrier, the baby fits perfectly in the jacket panel. At this point, the hood for the baby is a little big, but he'll grow into it. I can also wear it without the infant panel, and it looks like a normal jacket. I've been avoiding a wash because the material seems like it may pill up. The medium fits me well (5 foot, 5 inches, with 34 DDD bust and 157 pounds post--pregnancy).

This is an awesome jacket, esp if your little one likes to be carried in the baby carrier. The jacket is great for fall or spring (i would think too light for winter - i was comfortable down to temps in the mid to upper 40s). It's great that you can use it even after the baby is done being carried since the extra piece just zips off. I get compliments on how cool this jacket is ALL THE TIME. My only slight negative is that the sleeves are a little tight, but otherwise, the fit is as expected.

If you spend time outside, get this. Just get it. You won’t regret it. My son is a little heater and so I normally can wear just a t shirt or long sleeve tee and be plenty warm, unless the wind comes up. It doesn’t really keep the wind out, but not much does. I’ve worn a hoodie under this with the carrier and my son and been just peachy! The baby hood does end up going over his face, so we struggle with that if we even use his hood.

This is the best winter jacket I've ever had. It arrived just in time for our first snow this winter and it's so warm and comfortable and I didn't even need anything heavier on top despite the wind and temp of about 10 degrees F for both me and my baby. My only issue is that the hood can't be tightened down and kept blowing off my head. Adding some kind of drawstring and maybe zippered pockets would turn this into a perfect jacket. Even so I absolutely love this thing and I think I know what to get people for their baby showers in the future! Even if I'm not baby wearing this will be my go-to from now on and I think this will be perfect for pregnant women too.

This is such a great jacket to have. I walk about 3 times a week while carrying my 1 month old and this keeps me and my baby cozy. It been in the mid 30s and 40s here lately and this jacket works great, it's not for freezing weather. The material is thick and the zippers seem durable. I have worn it with and without my baby and it looks like a normal jacket without my baby in it, as this is my last baby I'm glad I'll be able to get more use out of it.
I'm 5'4 and weigh 137 but I'm rather busty (especially since I'm breast feeding) and most mediums are tight across my chest, so I bought a large.. I could have gone with a medium.

An absolute must-have if you’re having a baby when it’s cold outside! Baby is so cozy, it’s comfortable and soft, gentle on their skin. SO functional and sweet

This is great for wearing with your baby carrier underneath. Keeps baby warm. Fits great with the added panel. For me without the panel for baby wearing if I just wanted to wear it on my own it is a tad tight at the bottom, but that's because I'm really curvy in the butt and thighs. It still works and is very worth it. I'm about 185 post partum and the large fits well. I think the xl would've been too big. I'm glad i went with large based on other reviewers.
